Security Engineer

About the role

Snap Finance is seeking a Security Engineer to join its Infrastructure Security Operations team. The role is responsible for the day‑to‑day security of a multi‑region AWS environment, driving automation, incident response, and security tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Own the security posture of multi‑region AWS workloads, continuously assess and harden the environment.
• Operate and maintain the full security toolset, including CSPM, SIEM, vulnerability management, network security, ZTNA, DLP, EDR, and endpoint management.
• Drive the vulnerability management lifecycle: scanning, prioritization, remediation SLAs, and reporting.
• Manage identity and access infrastructure (MFA, IAM, IGA, privileged access, credential management) and lead the build‑out of a PAM program.
• Monitor threat intelligence, translate findings into actionable priorities, and support cloud migration security workstreams.
• Serve as primary responder for security incidents, develop playbooks, ensure forensic readiness, and conduct post‑incident reviews.
• Write code and AI‑native tools to automate alert triage, compliance evidence collection, asset inventory, and security metrics.
• Contribute to security‑as‑code practices: IaC reviews, CI/CD pipeline hardening, and software supply‑chain controls.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience securing multi‑region AWS environments.
• Proven track record in incident response and vulnerability management.
• Ability to work occasional after‑hours for critical incidents.
• Strong collaboration skills with IT, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
