Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our Boston team. The position is onsite four days a week and focuses on protecting network, email, endpoint, cloud, identity and data assets in a financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and network access control solutions.
• Secure email, endpoints and data loss prevention across the organization.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and lead remediation efforts.
• Implement cloud security controls for AWS and Azure workloads.
• Maintain and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SSL/TLS, PKI and IPSec configurations.
• Support Windows, Linux and Active Directory environments with a Zero Trust approach.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in network and information security.
• Proven experience in financial or regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
