Security Architect

About the role

As a Security Architect at Applied Intuition you will lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for next‑generation automotive systems. You will ensure that all solutions meet ISO/SAE 21434 engineering requirements and the UN Regulation 155/156 mandates across the vehicle lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end cybersecurity architectures compliant with ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155 CSMS for concept, development, production, operation and decommissioning phases.
• Implement UN R156‑compliant Software Update Management Systems with secure OTA update mechanisms, cryptographic verification and version control for automotive ECUs.
• Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA) in line with ISO 21434 Annex C, addressing identified attack vectors.
• Design hardware‑rooted security controls for automotive SoCs, including secure boot, hardware security modules (HSM) and trusted execution environments (TEE).
• Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to verify component security meets ISO 21434 supply‑chain requirements and UN R155 post‑production obligations.

Required profile

• Deep technical expertise in automotive cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
• Hands‑on experience with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) processes.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical security architectures.
• Experience working with embedded, application and cloud security teams.
