Security Analyst II – SOC Night Shift

About the role

UltraViolet Cyber is seeking a Security Analyst II to join its Security Operations Center (SOC). This night‑shift position (7 PM‑7 AM MST) will focus on monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across a variety of client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor security events and alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, following established procedures and coordinating with SOC teammates and client representatives.
• Analyze events to determine root cause, affected systems, and potential impact.
• Utilize a range of security technologies to detect, investigate, and remediate threats.
• Document incidents, actions taken, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Passionate and dedicated security professional willing to work night‑shift hours.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess and prioritize security alerts.
• Comfortable collaborating in a fast‑paced SOC environment.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS technologies.
