Seasonal Line/Prep Cook

About the role

Join the culinary team at Gozzer Ranch as a Seasonal Line/Prep Cook. You will support the Executive Chef in delivering high‑quality dishes across multiple food outlets during the busy season.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in set‑up and daily preparation of the seasonal culinary program.
• Set up assigned stations with predetermined mise en place.
• Prepare and cook menu items for all outlets, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain safe equipment use, monitor temperatures, and ensure food safety compliance.
• Control food production to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Stock, rotate, and monitor inventory; alert the Sous Chef of low items.
• Work across line, salad, prep, and other stations as needed.
• Peel, chop, and prep vegetables; cut meat, fillet and debone fish.
• Receive deliveries, put away stock, and keep stations clean.

Required profile

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a line or prep cook in fine‑dining, luxury resort, or private club.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items over 50 lb for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
