About the role

Indegene is seeking a senior Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Strategist to lead AI‑driven search initiatives for pharma brands. You will translate client business objectives into actionable GEO strategies and guide teams on discoverability within emerging LLM platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive GEO strategies covering entity optimization, content authority, structured data, and LLM discoverability.
• Conduct GEO audits and maturity assessments, identifying gaps in AI search readiness and defining prioritized roadmaps.
• Advise pharma brand, digital, and medical teams on AI‑first content transformation, governance, and publishing workflows.
• Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and strategic presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership, account teams, and delivery squads to ensure solutions are grounded in pharma domain realities and deliver measurable impact.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in SEO or search strategy, preferably within healthcare or life‑sciences.
• Strong advisory and client‑facing skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business narratives.
• Proven track record of delivering AI‑driven search solutions for large organizations.

Required skills

• Expertise with AI‑driven search platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot).
• Knowledge of LLM platforms and their impact on content discoverability.
