About the role
We are looking for a Search Engine Optimization Account Manager to lead both on‑site and off‑site SEO initiatives for our clients. The role combines strategic thinking, hands‑on execution, and thought leadership to drive measurable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Rapidly understand each client’s product, market, goals, and growth opportunities.
- Develop, manage, and execute SEO strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Communicate strategy, timelines, and results to end clients.
- Conduct keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
- Recommend and execute content development plans.
- Design and run link‑building campaigns.
- Implement and maintain search engine programs such as XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, and webmaster tools.
- Evaluate and report on SEO campaign performance.
- Participate in sales meetings and lead SEO‑specific business development.
- Educate team members on SEO fundamentals and client communication.
- Collaborate with marketing to create SEO case studies and materials.
- Address client inquiries promptly and support team responses.
- Present long‑term results, strategies, and tactics in client and agency meetings.
- Stay current with industry trends and apply them to improve accounts.
Required profile
- 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience; paid search or social experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful SEO strategies across various industries.
- Strong analytical and quantitative thinking.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and teamwork orientation.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
