Scientific Change Management Consultant

About the role
The Scientific Change Management Consultant joins Zifo North America’s consulting team to lead change initiatives for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agritech clients. Working remotely with a preference for East‑Coast locations, you will partner with scientific business analysts and senior consultants to design and execute transformation strategies that drive operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement change‑management strategies, serving as the primary point of contact for client transformation needs.
- Collaborate with Zifo teams to build change‑management toolkits and up‑skill project members.
- Engage with external change‑management leaders in pharma, biotech and agritech to expand Zifo’s presence.
- Own project success through active listening, empathetic collaboration, and clear communication across stakeholders.
- Produce business‑analysis deliverables such as user‑requirements specifications, functional specifications, data and process maps, workflows, gap analyses, implementation roadmaps, evaluation methodologies and questionnaires.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and define implementation strategies for client decision‑making.
- Assess system landscapes and contribute to IT, informatics and data‑roadmap planning.
- Manage large projects/programs, including estimation, scheduling, risk management and milestone tracking.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates and escalate risks as needed.
- Mentor associates, guiding their professional development and project contributions.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading medium‑to‑high complexity change‑management or consulting engagements in scientific domains.
- Strong consulting behaviors: active listening, ownership, effective communication and collaborative problem‑solving.
- Ability to work with senior consultants, client stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in business analysis, vendor evaluation and implementation planning.
