Scientific Change Management Consultant

About the role

The Scientific Change Management Consultant joins Zifo North America’s consulting team to design and execute change‑management strategies for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agritech clients. Working remotely with a preference for East‑Coast locations, you will partner with scientific business analysts and senior consultants to drive transformation across complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead medium‑to‑high complexity change‑management engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for client change needs.
• Develop and deliver change‑management strategies, toolkits, and capability‑building activities for internal project teams.
• Collaborate with external change‑management leaders to enhance Zifo’s presence in the industry.
• Own business‑analysis deliverables such as user requirements specifications, functional specifications, data and process maps, workflows, gap analyses, implementation roadmaps, and evaluation questionnaires.
• Conduct vendor evaluations and define implementation strategies for pharma/biotech/agritech clients.
• Assess system landscapes and contribute to IT, informatics and data‑roadmap planning.
• Manage project estimation, scheduling, risk mitigation, milestone tracking and status communication.
• Mentor associates, guide professional development and monitor key project metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading change‑management or consulting engagements in scientific or life‑science environments.
• Strong ability to listen actively, collaborate empathetically and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ownership, problem‑solving mindset and capacity to drive project success.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including scientific analysts, IT and data specialists.
