About the role

Science Buzz is a pre‑launch blog that makes physical‑science research accessible to a general audience. We are seeking knowledgeable contributors to write engaging articles on recent discoveries and create content for infographics.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality posts (800‑2,000 words) on recent research across Earth Science, Biology, Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry and sub‑disciplines.
• Write guides and outline content for infographics that illustrate scientific concepts.
• Identify topics that are under‑reported and ensure coverage of research published within the last year.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise or strong passion in a scientific domain, with familiarity of leading academic journals.
• Ability to translate complex, jargon‑heavy material into clear, engaging prose.
• Understanding of viral content formats (e.g., listicles) and willingness to use proven formulas.
• A sense of humor or whimsy to make science relatable.
