About the role

The school nurse provides essential health services to students, delivering classroom instruction, individual counseling, and emergency care during school hours. This role ensures a safe and healthy learning environment by managing health information and collaborating with school staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom health education and one‑on‑one student counseling.
• Provide emergency care for illnesses or injuries in accordance with first‑aid guidelines.
• Maintain accurate health records and related documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to interpret and address student health status.
• Participate in the development, management, and evaluation of a comprehensive school health program.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with proof required.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree with successful NCLEX completion.
• Ability to pass Tier 1 background investigation and childcare checks.
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing and sign required forms.
