School Nurse (RN) – Full‑Time Contract

About the role

The Stepping Stones Group, a sister company of Kinetic, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide 1:1 school‑based nursing care for a student in the Stokes County Schools district for the 2026‑2027 academic year. This full‑time W‑2 contract role offers consistent pay, clinical support, and a structured benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of the assigned student throughout the school day.
• Implement and monitor individualized health plans, including tube feedings, oxygen therapy, and medication administration.
• Accompany the student during transportation and community‑based activities as needed.
• Communicate status changes to families, school staff, and clinical leadership.
• Provide first aid, emergency support, and ensure confidentiality per FERPA and HIPAA.

Required profile

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification.
• Experience with pediatric populations and ability to work independently.
• Prior school‑based nursing experience preferred.

Required skills
