School Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified School Nurse to provide health education, emergency care, and comprehensive health services to students during school hours. The role involves collaborating with teachers and staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction and individual counseling on student health topics.
• Provide emergency care for illnesses or injuries in accordance with first‑aid guidelines.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Work with teachers and school personnel to interpret and address pupil health status.
• Assist in the development, management, and evaluation of the school’s health program.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and proof of eligibility for employment.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, including a Tier 1 childcare check.
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing and sign required forms.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete the Selective Service certification.
