School Lead Cleaner

About the role

ABM is seeking a reliable Lead Cleaner to oversee daily cleaning operations at a school facility. The Lead will ensure that all cleaning activities follow company policies, maintain safety standards, and keep the environment clean for staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Delegate cleaning tasks and provide guidance to team members.
• Supervise the facility when the manager is absent.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Maintain keys and access cards, report damaged or broken items.
• Oversee additional service requests and ensure quality completion.
• Train new hires according to onboarding procedures.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals on a weekly basis.
• Complete and validate time records for regular and subcontractor employees.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar cleaning experience, 1 year of customer service experience, and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
