SAP WM/EWM Consultant – Indianapolis

About the role

Infosys is seeking an SAP WM/EWM Consultant to join its Life Sciences unit in Indianapolis. The role supports ERP implementation projects for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, focusing on warehouse and transportation management within SAP SCM.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture user requirements for ERP implementations.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and refine custom code to extend and integrate SAP WM/EWM modules.
• Execute data migration tasks, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Perform compliance checks to ensure alignment with industry standards and security protocols.
• Document customization steps and support user training activities.

Required profile

• Agile mindset with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work across multiple areas of ERP package implementation, especially in the life‑sciences sector.
• Proactive approach to monitoring and resolving production issues.
• Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required skills

• SAP WM (Warehouse Management) and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
• SAP SCM functional expertise.
• Inventory Management, stock transfers, special stocks, physical inventory, and account determination.
• WM master data, inbound/outbound delivery processing, transfer orders, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Shipping and transportation management, mobile data entry, RF units, handling unit (HU) management, and production integration.
• Data migration, data mapping, and data cleansing techniques.
