SAP Data Entry Clerk

About the role

The Mundy Companies is seeking a detail‑oriented SAP Data Entry Clerk for a long‑term position in the Freeport, Texas area. You will be responsible for scanning, digitising, and entering large volumes of critical information into our SAP‑based database while meeting strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and organise inbound and outbound documents for accuracy.
• Transfer high‑volume paper data into computer files or database systems, prioritising entry tasks.
• Identify and resolve data deficiencies using standard procedures.
• Create spreadsheets containing large data sets.
• Verify entered data against source documents and eliminate duplicates.
• Research incomplete documents for month‑end close in line with accounting figures.
• Perform regular database backups and scans to secure information.
• Follow company policies, report needed changes, and maintain confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong typing and data‑entry speed.
• Ability to work independently and multitask under tight deadlines.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to adapt to a 12‑hour shift schedule (4 days on, 4 days off) with possible overtime.
• Clear background and drug‑screening results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Familiarity with office equipment and basic computer hardware.
