SAP CO Functional Lead

About the role

As a Senior SAP CO Process Expert, you will lead the design, implementation and global rollout of SAP Controlling (CO) processes within a fast‑moving S/4HANA transformation. You will act as the primary consultant and implementation lead, coordinating with Finance, Production, Logistics and R&D teams across the United States and worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document and implement SAP CO process templates and best practices.
• Support integration of CO with production, logistics, investments and corporate finance.
• Guide U.S. and global entities through migration from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with corporate headquarters to ensure system alignment and data consistency.
• Drive global rollout of CO functionalities across regional locations.
• Provide post‑go‑live support, continuous improvement recommendations and user training.
• Participate in broader IT transformation projects focused on finance and controlling systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP CO in a consulting or enterprise environment.
• Proven experience implementing SAP R/3 and/or S/4HANA, including at least one full‑cycle S/4HANA migration.
• Strong understanding of related SAP modules (FI, MM, PP, etc.) and cross‑functional process integration.
