SAP BTP Solutions Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a SAP BTP Solutions Engineer based in the United States to design and deliver modern SAP cloud solutions that extend enterprise applications while adhering to clean-core principles. The role sits at the intersection of SAP development, cloud architecture, integration and emerging technologies, enabling scalable business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate side-by-side extensions and standalone applications on SAP Business Technology Platform using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and/or Java.
• Build modern user interfaces with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori elements.
• Develop and consume OData v2/v4 services to integrate SAP systems with internal and external applications.
• Implement authentication and authorization using XSUAA, SAP Identity Authentication Service and SAP Identity Provisioning Service.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise applications in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments.
• Leverage SAP BTP services for workflow automation, business rules, data management and analytics.
• Create event-driven solutions with SAP Event Mesh and Advanced Event Mesh.
• Implement AI and machine-learning use cases using SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad and related services.
• Apply clean-core principles, build CI/CD pipelines and support multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants and integration teams, and provide post-go-live support.
