SAP BODS/Data Conversion Consultant

About the role

Deloitte’s Enterprise Performance team is seeking a SAP BODS/Data Conversion Consultant to support data migration initiatives across finance, supply chain, and IT operations. You will work with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate and efficient movement of legacy data into SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support SAP data conversion and migration activities throughout the implementation lifecycle, including data collection, extraction, template preparation, mapping, transformation, validation, and defect tracking.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, standardization, de‑duplication, reconciliation, and issue analysis for master and transactional data.
• Utilize SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS) and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit to prepare and move data from legacy systems to SAP target systems.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to document data requirements, business rules, assumptions, risks, and decisions.
• Support testing, mock loads, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities through test script execution, defect tracking, data validation, reconciliation, post‑load checks, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP data migration, including profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
