SAP ABAP Technology Architect

About the role

Infosys is looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Technology Architect to join its US delivery team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SAP solutions while ensuring alignment with client standards and Infosys best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support custom SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 and BAS tools.
• Implement RICEF objects, reports (classical, interactive, module pool), and enhancements (BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, Enhancement Spots).
• Develop interfaces such as ALE/IDocs, BAPI, RFC, SXDA, BDC, and file transfers.
• Perform data dictionary work, debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews.
• Create Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and OData/Web services for S/4 HANA modules.
• Maintain technical documentation, support data conversion, and manage release cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 3+ years progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience with at least 7 years of SAP ABAP development across SD/MM/FICO/PS/HCM/PM.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely for extended periods.
