Sales Training Manager – Jacksonville, FL

About the role

The Sales Training Manager leads the Field Coaching & Development team, delivering targeted training and coaching to Field Sales Managers and Sales Representatives. This role is hands‑on, working directly in the market to close skill gaps and drive sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement training programs aligned with strategic sales objectives.
• Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for all sales staff.
• Partner with leadership to develop new training methods for Field Sales Managers and reps.
• Schedule and lead “work‑with” sessions to reinforce the Breakthru Way of Selling.
• Provide coaching and career‑development support to sales associates.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to align goals and coach teams toward achievement.
• Analyze training needs, collect effectiveness data, and recommend improvements.
• Serve as liaison between supplier trainers and Breakthru, handling supplier‑related training and internship coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in people management.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in wine & spirits distribution preferred.

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other presentation software.
