Sales Representative - Patient Care/Handling (East Dakotas)

About the role

Stryker is hiring a field-based Sales Representative for its Patient Care/Handling products in the East Dakotas area, based in Sioux Falls. The role promotes and sells Acute Care products to healthcare providers, including bed frames, patient room furniture, support surfaces, stretchers and transport chairs. It involves building customer relationships, answering inquiries, negotiating pricing and managing orders, with 50% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker Patient Care/Handling products to meet customers' needs.
• Become a Patient Care/Handling expert working with surgeons, nurses and hospital administrators.
• Focus on customer satisfaction by solving problems through a consultative approach and providing responsive customer service.
• Contribute to cost reduction and ensure on-time, complete and error-free shipments.
• Monitor performance, exceed sales targets and collaborate with marketing and support teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and a good driving record.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience continuing in sales or a clinical setting.

Required skills

• Experience with reports, budgets, customer service and project management.
• Basic knowledge of market research, new product introduction, P&L management and field testing.
