Sales Representative - Hospital Emergency Care (New Jersey South)

About the role

Stryker is hiring a field-based Sales Representative for its Hospital Emergency Care products in New Jersey South. The role promotes and sells products such as defibrillators, AEDs and chest compression systems to healthcare providers, with up to 50% travel. It is a 100% commission position eligible for bonuses and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker Emergency Care hospital products to healthcare providers
• Achieve quota through a consultative approach, including sales, marketing and clinical demonstrations
• Become the resident expert on Patient Resuscitation and Treatment (PRT) for hospitals, working with nurses, medical directors and administrators
• Build strong customer relationships, answer inquiries, negotiate pricing and manage orders
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes
• Focus on customer satisfaction, teamwork and honest, responsive service
• Commit to on-time, complete and error-free shipments

Required profile

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree
• Experience continuing in sales or a clinical setting
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and a good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and to perform prolonged physical activity as needed

Required skills

• Reports, budget, customer service and project management experience
• Basic knowledge of market research, new product introduction, P&L management and field testing
