Sales Manager – East Coast Cannabis Market

About the role

RoveRove, a fast‑growing premium cannabis brand, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead its sales team across New York and New Jersey. You will be the face of the brand to customers and strategic partners, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence on the East Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales team of Account Executives, Account Managers and Brand Ambassadors.
• Design and execute sales strategies to increase market share and achieve quarterly revenue targets.
• Set, monitor and report on sales KPIs, providing coaching and feedback.
• Oversee onboarding, training and continuous professional development for the team.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and operations to align sales initiatives.
• Maintain key account relationships and ensure long‑term client retention.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met at retail partners.
• Travel regularly within the New York and New Jersey territories.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of sales leadership experience in cannabis, CPG or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven ability to build and motivate sales teams to exceed revenue and account growth goals.
• Strong understanding of the cannabis market and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for territory travel.
