Sales Engineer – Western Pennsylvania

About the role

Dormer Pramet, a member of the Sandvik Group, is seeking a Sales Engineer to cover the Western Pennsylvania territory. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to grow market share, introduce new tooling solutions, and strengthen relationships with end‑users and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new end‑user customers and expand distributor partnerships to increase market coverage.
• Provide technical guidance on product lines such as solid carbide drills, high‑performance taps, and indexable tooling.
• Collaborate with customers and distributors to understand tooling needs and relay insights to Product Management.
• Lead product training sessions and new‑product introduction meetings.
• Maintain CRM data, pursue sales leads, conduct regular customer visits, and achieve sales targets.
• Travel within the territory and occasionally on international trips, using a company‑provided vehicle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with metalworking/cutting tools.
• 3+ years of sales experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• U.S. work authorization, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain customer facility clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM systems (preferred).
