Sales Development Representative – Chains (Orange County North)

About the role

This full‑time Sales Development Representative role is aimed at current associates and will rotate across multiple territories, focusing on the Chains segment in Orange County North. The primary goal is to maximise the sales of supplier brands to trade accounts while providing flexible support to the Merchandising Department during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned accounts and establish efficient daily routing patterns.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, promoting display ideas, new products, cold‑box, shelf, back‑bar placements, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
• Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permitted.
• Increase brand visibility using current point‑of‑sale materials.
• Collect payments and handle remittances in compliance with legal guidelines.
• Conduct educational training seminars for account staff on brand portfolios.
• Address customer issues, manage escalations, and coordinate with management.
• Analyse pricing and purchase history to plan sales and merchandising strategies.
• Ensure compliance with national account surveys and standards.
• Process credits, returns, and manage aged receivables.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings to stay informed on company and supplier updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
• Results‑oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using presentation software.
