Sales Development Associate – Entry Level

About the role

The Sales Development Associate supports Breakthru Beverage by covering routes without a permanent sales representative, driving product sales, merchandising, and volume growth. This entry‑level position offers a structured path into sales within the beverage industry.

Key responsibilities

• Visit accounts and create efficient routing patterns for uncovered daily routes.
• Strategize to meet sales and merchandising goals while reviewing pricing and product programs.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves where permitted.
• Maximize brand visibility using point‑of‑sale materials.
• Deliver products in extenuating circumstances, handle customer issues, and refer matters to management.
• Collect payments where required and provide extended route coverage as needed.
• Achieve distribution, volume, and activity targets set by management.
• Complete required surveys for national account compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• No prior experience required; results‑oriented with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask, work independently or within a team, and meet deadlines.
• Analytic and reporting aptitude with sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic PC skills.

What we offer

• $21.64 per hour.
