Sales & Business Development Representative

About the role

ServiceMaster Restoration is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and results‑driven Sales & Business Development Representative to expand its commercial and insurance referral network across New York and New Jersey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents, brokers, property managers, facility managers, and commercial property owners.
• Identify and pursue new commercial restoration opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and scheduled client visits.
• Promote emergency restoration services such as water, fire, mold, storm damage, and reconstruction.
• Conduct regular in‑person visits with existing and prospective referral partners and attend client meetings, presentations, networking events, and educational lunches.
• Track leads, contacts, follow‑ups, and sales activities using the company’s CRM platform and collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in outside sales, business development, or account management (preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and consistently follow up with prospective clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of CRM software (entering contacts, tracking activities, scheduling follow‑ups, managing leads).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
