Safety & Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Safety & Security Officer to join Gozzer Ranch, part of Discovery Land Company. The role ensures a safe and secure environment for members, guests, employees and visitors across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the property safe and secure for all members, guests, employees and visitors.
• Operate security posts and monitor traffic entering and leaving the property.
• Patrol the property to identify safety and security needs.
• Generate daily reports and maintain security logs.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents on the property.
• Complete thorough incident reports and investigations.
• Coordinate and monitor events to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Provide crowd control as needed.
• Enforce property policies and procedures.
• Assist members, guests, employees and visitors with any needs or problems that arise.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license.
• Military, law enforcement background or 1‑3 years of security experience preferred.
• Pass a standard criminal and driving background check.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with members, guests, employees, managers and construction personnel.
• Bilingual English‑Spanish candidates preferred.
• Highly organized with strong time‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented report writing.
• Ability to remain positive and perform effectively in stressful situations.
• Capability to work with diverse personality types and follow verbal and written instructions independently.
