Safety Manager – Renewable Projects

About the role

The Safety Manager will work across multiple wind and solar construction sites, ensuring a safe work environment for team members, contractors, and visitors. This role requires strong communication, flexibility, and professionalism while implementing the Bradley Safety program and supporting project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project management in developing and executing site‑specific safety programs and Emergency Action Plans.
• Implement and administer the Bradley Safety program at wind and solar construction sites.
• Conduct safety orientations, training, and produce daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
• Perform work‑area safety audits, track violations, and analyze injury and hazard statistics.
• Coordinate OSHA reporting, review safety submittals, and attend pre‑construction meetings.
• Support onsite injury case management and manage the safety budget for projects.

Required profile

• BS in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in renewable (wind, solar, battery) construction safety.
• Clean driving record and valid state driver’s license with ability to travel.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment background check and required drug screening.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of construction products, plans, specifications and PV industry best practices.
• Understanding of NEC requirements.
• Tower Safety and Climbing certification.
• OSHA 500 certification (or ability to obtain quickly).
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with LOTO safety procedures.
