Safety Coordinator – Night Shift (DOT Compliance)

About the role

The Safety Coordinator Night‑DOT supports the Safety Department by handling DOT and non‑DOT drug testing results and assisting with general safety administration during night hours. This full‑time position works a night shift schedule at the Wilmington, OH service center.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process all DOT & non‑DOT drug testing results.
• Field phone calls and email follow‑ups regarding crashes, spills, violations, citations, driver qualifications and ELD issues.
• Manage day‑to‑day office operations after business hours, including recording vehicular accidents and injury reports.
• Provide thorough communication via reports, email and verbal updates to staff about incidents.
• Coordinate first responders to serious crash scenes and maintain organized files and records.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to handle high volumes of phone and email communication confidentially.
• Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn and use in‑house software such as Risk Master, Legacy, Pathfinder, and Corrective Action Dashboard.
