Safety Coordinator

About the role

Bosch is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead the implementation and enforcement of safety standards across its Wichita plant. You will work closely with plant staff to ensure compliance with corporate, local, state and federal regulations, and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update compliance routes and safety documentation.
• Act as shop‑floor mentor for HSE topics and facilitate safety communications.
• Prepare, deliver and coordinate HSE training sessions and safety alerts.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in emergency response teams, drills and hazard assessments.
• Develop and revise plant HSE policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with ISO 45001.
• Conduct safety audits and formal reviews of new equipment or process changes.
• Liaise with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• College degree in a health, safety or environmental discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing, warehousing or industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
