S4 Materials Management Lead

About the role

The Materials Management Lead will support Project Helix, Honeywell’s SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation for the Process Technology business. Reporting to the Senior Director ISC Project Management, you will work from one of several U.S. locations on a hybrid schedule, ensuring end‑to‑end manufacturing planning, inventory management, and delivery processes align with SAP best practices and Honeywell’s global operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Translate operational and planning requirements into standardized, scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Provide inventory management and material planning expertise to guide system design, exception handling, and execution across global PT operations.
• Lead configuration and validation of inventory requirements in partnership with ISC manufacturing planning and production stakeholders.
• Drive process simplification, global standardisation, and alignment with the One Honeywell operating model.
• Collaborate with process owners, functional leads, and IT to gather requirements, assess gaps, and implement enhancements.
• Validate user stories and lead user‑acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy and process integrity.
• Identify gaps, propose mitigation strategies, and communicate risks and dependencies to leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of supply‑chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong SAP ERP knowledge, including implementation experience.
• Deep understanding of inventory management systems and material‑planning processes.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent (preferred).
• U.S. person status (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status).
