Rooftop Host (Seasonal)

About the role

Arlo Hotels is seeking an enthusiastic Seasonal Rooftop Host to lead the guest experience on its rooftop venue from early April through mid‑September. As the first and last point of contact, you will set the tone for every visit, ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and eager to return.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests, recognize regular and VIP visitors.
• Check guests in, escort them to tables, present menus, and manage seating flow.
• Handle reservations, phone inquiries, and confirm bookings one day in advance.
• Operate the OpenTable reservation system and manage opening/closing side work.
• Address guest complaints, coordinate with management, and ensure timely resolution.
• Process credit‑card authorizations, maintain accurate receipts, and forward lost‑and‑found items.
• Communicate table availability, wait times, and special requests to the maître d’ and sales team.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a friendly demeanor throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the OpenTable reservation system.
