Rock Drill / Components Exchange Driver – Elko, NV

About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Rock Drill / Components Exchange Driver to support its Rock Drill exchange and rebuild recovery program in the Elko region. The role involves safe, reliable, and customer‑focused pickup and delivery of rock drills, components, parts, tooling, and documentation between customer sites, the Elko branch, and other approved locations.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport rock drills, components, exchange units, parts, tools, and related materials between customer locations, Sandvik facilities, and approved delivery points while complying with company, customer, DOT, site, and EHS requirements.
• Act as a professional, customer‑facing representative for the exchange program, building trust with site contacts and maintaining clear communication.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with customers, ensuring timely service and adherence to site‑specific procedures.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment using appropriate PPE and follow safe‑handling limits.
• Support the Rock Drills, Parts & Services, Warehouse, Workshop, and Field Service teams as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to safely operate an assigned vehicle and secure loads.
• Willingness to follow customer site requirements and safety protocols.
• Capability to lift and move materials within safe limits.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule for urgent customer needs.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multiple internal teams.
