About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse for the TOSH Inpatient unit. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment, supporting the health and recovery of patients throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Monitor patient vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Availability to work day‑shift hours.
