RN Outpatient OB/GYN – Day Shift (PRN)

About the role

This PRN, day‑shift position supports outpatient OB/GYN services, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast‑paced clinic environment. The role is ideal for a registered nurse seeking flexible hours and experience in women's health.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop baseline health plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement individualized care plans.
• Deliver independent nursing interventions and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Monitor patient responses, evaluate effectiveness of interventions, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment and advocate for patient needs.
• Provide health education, disease prevention, and care coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience (OB/GYN or labor & delivery preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification for Northwest Clinic/Hospital locations.
