RN Operations Coordinator – Night Shift Supervisor (Telemetry)

About the role

The RN Operations Coordinator works the night shift as a supervisor and direct care provider for telemetry patients. You will lead a team of nurses and technicians, ensure safe medication administration, and coordinate patient discharges while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medications, start IVs, and discharge patients in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Organize, plan, and supervise coordinated patient care within the telemetry unit.
• Develop, evaluate, and mentor assigned staff nurses and patient care technicians.
• Promote evidence‑based nursing protocols and clinical practice guidelines.
• Manage shift conflicts and collaborate with unit leadership for resolution.
• Support daily clinical operations by ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, and availability of clinical supplies.
• Collaborate with patient quality, safety, and experience leadership to drive improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of RN experience (or 2 years LPN experience) in an acute‑care setting; 2 years RN experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software applications, and web‑based systems.
• Ability to operate telemetry monitoring equipment and interpret data.
