About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Medical Oncology Clinic. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care to adults undergoing cancer treatment, supporting a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high‑quality oncology services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document the condition of oncology patients throughout their treatment cycles.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive medications according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, side‑effects, and self‑care strategies.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in Arkansas and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Experience in oncology or infusion nursing preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work day‑shift hours and provide compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Required skills

• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring.
