RN - Behavioral Health Service Line

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Behavioral Health Service Line in Little Rock. This temporary, fixed-term position provides direct nursing care to patients within a multidisciplinary behavioral health setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and education to individuals receiving behavioral health services.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient safety, medication administration, and documentation in accordance with UAMS policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Willingness to work on a temporary, fixed-term schedule.
