RN – Acute Care Orthopedic Surgery – Part‑Time Night Shift

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high‑quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute care orthopedic surgery setting. This part‑time night‑shift position follows the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Promote performance‑improvement initiatives, research, and evidence‑based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and workforce sustainability.
• Participate in data collection, protocol development, and resource management to optimize care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience; direct patient care preferred.
• Active RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills, with proficiency in technology and time management.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies in a fast‑paced environment.
