Risk Analyst

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Risk Analyst to join its investment team in Atlanta. You will monitor portfolio risk, ensure compliance with risk policies, and support the development of risk measurement tools across multiple strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor portfolios to ensure they conform to approved risk policies and limits.
• Perform risk analysis on portfolios and benchmarks, evaluating market, liquidity, and concentration risk under normal and stressed conditions.
• Prepare written memos and presentations for committees, fund boards, and senior leaders.
• Develop scalable programming solutions and proprietary risk measurement approaches.
• Collaborate with investment teams to provide risk insights that enhance the investment process.
• Contribute to new product development and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in investment management, preferably with fixed‑income instruments.
• Understanding of derivatives, international markets, and regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with risk models and methodologies.

Required skills

• Strong programming and statistical programming abilities.
• Data analysis expertise.
• Experience with risk platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, MSCI RiskMetrics, MSCI BarraOne, and Bloomberg PORT.
