Rheumatologist – Clinical Practice in Freehold, NJ

About the role

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Rheumatologist to join its growing team at the Freehold satellite office and the inpatient service at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The position offers the opportunity to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered rheumatology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical consults and continuity of care for patients with rheumatologic diseases in ambulatory and inpatient environments.
• Manage a primarily outpatient caseload at the new Freehold satellite office, with scheduled inpatient duties at JSUMC.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across specialties.
• Participate in academic activities and maintain eligibility for a faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Eligibility to obtain a New Jersey medical license, DEA, and CDS license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Willingness to engage in academic and collaborative initiatives.
