Rework Technician – Electrical (Aircraft)

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Aircraft Rework Technician specialized in electrical systems to join the X‑Plant Manufacturing team in Mobile, Alabama. You will work on the shop floor of a high‑tech aerospace facility, supporting the production of A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform non‑standard electrical rework, including wire, harness, and component changes.
• Execute electrical bonding, crimping, pinning, splicing, system exchanges, painting, and sealing tasks.
• Conduct troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out self‑inspections and delegated inspections according to qualification profiles and work orders.
• Collaborate with an autonomous team to meet milestones for the Mobile Final Assembly Line and Flight Line.

Required profile

• Experience working in an aerospace or high‑precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow detailed work orders and inspection plans.
• Self‑directed attitude with strong attention to safety and quality standards.
