About the role

The Pricer at RWB Thrift is responsible for assigning accurate prices to donated merchandise that will be sold on the sales floor. This role directly influences store revenue by balancing competitive pricing with optimal sales potential.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the value of donated items based on condition, quality, and current market trends.
• Apply pricing strategies to ensure competitive pricing while maximizing sales.
• Use pricing tools and software to maintain consistent pricing across all product categories.
• Collaborate with Pricer Support staff to ensure coverage and accuracy during absences.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust prices to improve turnover.
• Maintain documentation of pricing decisions and updates.
• Communicate pricing changes to team members and management.
• Support store promotions and initiatives through timely pricing adjustments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail pricing or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate product value and market trends.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
