Retail Labor & Analytics Manager

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Retail Labor & Analytics Manager to lead a small analytics team and drive labor planning, productivity reporting, and workforce management across its retail network. This role partners with Retail Operations, Finance, Global Retail, Field Leadership, IT, and Product teams to deliver operational insights that improve store performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Support review and refinement of labor standards through time‑in‑motion studies, workflow mapping, and process analysis.
• Manage day‑to‑day workforce management activities, including schedule guidance, staffing assumptions, and labor planning inputs.
• Partner with Global Retail and Finance to enhance scheduling technologies, resource planning tools, and operational insight platforms.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline store processes and launch new capabilities.
• Oversee payroll budget management, track performance, analyze sensitivities, and flag risks or opportunities.
• Provide descriptive analytics, reporting, and insights related to store performance goals and operational programs.
• Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports (Senior Analyst and Analyst), ensuring clear priorities and professional growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce management, retail operations analytics, labor planning, or related analytical roles.
• Strong understanding of workforce management, retail analytics, and data modeling.
• Proven ability to build business cases and conduct inventory, productivity, payroll, and labor analytics.
• Experience leading a small analytics team and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
