Retail Buyer & Manager

About the role

The Retail Buyer & Manager will source and purchase high‑end merchandise for Discovery Land Company’s Atlantic Fields location. Working closely with sales, marketing and club operations, you will help shape the retail experience for members and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the Management One open‑to‑buy system to manage inventory and purchasing.
• Execute purchases, handle vendor communications, set up new accounts, and track purchase orders.
• Collaborate with the Director of Retail on custom product development and branding guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct monthly physical counts, and monitor shrink and sell‑through metrics.
• Receive merchandise in the POS system, ensuring correct SKU assignment, pricing and descriptions.
• Attend trade shows, source staff uniforms, event swag and other miscellaneous projects.
• Update vendor contact information and support invoice processing with accounting.

Required profile

• Experience in retail purchasing, vendor management and inventory control.
• Ability to work closely with sales, marketing and club operations teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage purchase orders, inventory audits and vendor data.
