Retail Assistant (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Retail Assistant will support the Retail Department at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, located just outside Nashville, TN. This part‑time position focuses on delivering exceptional service to members and guests while maintaining smooth shop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Manager with daily store operations and execution.
• Greet members and guests promptly, anticipate needs, and provide courteous service.
• Process sales, returns, and special orders using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Maintain visual standards: tidy displays, proper folding, tag placement, and clean floor.
• Monitor inventory, conduct monthly reconciliations, and communicate stock needs.
• Support merchandising rotations and promotional activities.
• Answer phone calls professionally and redirect as needed.
• Help with Member Services, Golf Operations, and special events when required.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of retail operations or customer‑service experience preferred.
• At least 6 months in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, service‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work flexible part‑time hours, including weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with point‑of‑sale systems (Jonus or TEI preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
