Retail Assistant

About the role

The Retail Assistant will support the Retail Manager in daily shop operations at Atlantic Fields, delivering exceptional service to members, guests, and team members. This position plays a key part in creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Manager with day‑to‑day retail operations.
• Greet members and guests promptly, anticipate needs, and respond with urgency.
• Process sales transactions using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Drive sales by building relationships, staying informed on brand offerings and regional fashion trends.
• Maintain store presentation standards, including packaging, gift‑wrap, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the Merchandiser on visual displays and rotations.
• Monitor inventory, reconcile monthly counts, and communicate stock needs.
• Handle retail phone calls professionally and redirect as needed.
• Support Member Services, Golf Operations, and Special Events when required.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of retail operations and customer‑service experience preferred.
• At least 6 months in hospitality or a fast‑paced luxury service environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, service‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with point‑of‑sale systems (Jonas or TEI preferred).
