Restaurant Runner – Fast-Paced Service Role

About the role

The Runner at La Boca supports the dining experience by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests quickly, accurately, and with care. This full‑time position is based in New York City and offers an hourly wage of $18 plus tips.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver plates, drinks and condiments to the correct tables promptly.
• Verify each item matches the guest’s order before service.
• Communicate any delays or issues to servers and managers.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and service stations.
• Support side work such as restocking and silverware preparation.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or hospitality experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with food names, ingredients and service etiquette.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Physical stamina to handle high‑volume service and lift up to 25 lb.
